Originally incorporated as Midwest Formwork in 2009, Our focus is on Reinforced Concrete Substructure and Superstructure projects. By concentrating on these core services we have developed a vast expertise in:

Basement Construction, Reinforced Concrete Frames, Precast Concrete Products, Jump-form, Slip-forming, Post-Tensioning, Concrete Pumping/Distribution, Security Screening & Climbing Edge Protection, Piling and Piling Attendances, Tower Cranage, Design; Build Value Engineering Solutions and Services, Temporary Works Design.

Post Tension Steel/ Rebar

Post Tensioning

Post-tensioning is a method of reinforcing concrete structures for increased strength and comprises lications include office and apartment buildings, parking structures, slabs-on-ground, bridges, sports stadiums, rock and soil anchors, and water-tanks.

In many cases, post-tensioning allows construction that would otherwise be impossible due to either site constraints or architectural requirements. There are post-tensioning applications in almost all facets of construction..

Slip Form Core

Slip Form

Midwest Formwork uses Slipforming techniques to bring time and cost savings to projects such as service cores, towers, silos, and bridge piers, while maintaining the high quality standards required in today's market. Slipforming is one of the fastest methods of constructing vertical structures, with a rise of 7-8m per day on a 24-hour shift and 3-4m per day on a day shift. This leads to reduced construction periods and cost savings compared to traditional formwork or jumpform systems. Slipforming can accommodate even the most complicated structures and is not disrupted by adverse weather. Personnel are provided with a permanent, safe platform to work from.

RC Concrete frame with Doka Decking

Reinforced Concrete Frames

At Midwest Formwork, we have integrated the use of the Doka soffit formwork table system into our construction processes. This system allows for faster handling of formwork when casting floor slabs, leading to increased efficiency on the construction site. Standard functional components can be easily installed to adapt to changing requirements, ensuring a safe and seamless process..

Concrete Boom Pump and Climbing Screens

Concrete Distribution/Pumping

At our company, we offer a comprehensive concrete service that includes cubing, testing, monitoring, and pumping. Depending on the project, we may use a combination of mobile and static pumps to place the concrete. In situations where there is restricted access for a mobile pump or where the structure is complex and tall, a static pump and placing boom can be advantageous. This allows us to free up the crane and improve the efficiency of the project, helping us to bring the frame in on time.
